Jill Payne

Jill Payne is a writer, educator, photographer, lecturer, and environmental advocate with more than three decades of experience in fashion merchandising, sustainability, and leadership in higher education.

A former associate professor and department chair, her teaching focused on corporate social responsibility, business, fashion merchandising, and project management.

Now, her work as an author and photographer invites readers to slow down, pay attention, and reconsider how the clothes we make and wear shapes communities and affects both the natural and human environment.

This project naturally combines Jill’s love for fashion, her advocacy for the preservation of the natural environment, and her love of country life.
